A blessed month for our Youth

Throughout April, the Maranatha Christian Church in Japan has prayed for our Youth. It was a blessed month when we were able to see the Lord's operation in and through their lives.

Youth and the church after the special service.

From the very start of the month, the church was overjoyed to see the youth group being greatly used. We began the month by having them take charge of the early morning prayer meetings via ZOOM where the Lord promised great blessings of protection and renewal for them. Many of the youth were then used in leading the praise period during the in-person and online services; It was wonderful to see the youth's passion and commitment to the Work of the Lord.

Then, we were also able to feel the presence of the Lord during online visits where the Lord spoke greatly through the Spiritual Gifts and strengthened them in His way. We heard throughout the month their will to grow closer to the Lord and to be used more and more in His Work.

Finally, to close the month, the youth from all over the country gathered in person in the Gifu church for a special service where the Holy Spirit's presence was greatly felt.

Special Youth Meeting in Gifu

The service, which was also live-streamed via ZOOM, was conducted in both Portuguese and Japanese and had over 20 people in attendance where half of whom were youths. Through the songs sung and the message preached the Holy Spirit reminded those in attendance that He is our strength and, by crying out to Him, He is willing to restore us to His presence. Immediately following this event, the Lord continued to speak to our Youth through individual prayer, confirming His promises and showing some a way back to His way.

In conclusion, the month of April was a testament to the power of prayer and the dedication of our youth group in Japan. From leading morning prayer meetings to guiding worship services, their fervour and commitment to the Lord's work have shone brightly. Through online visits and a special gathering at the Gifu church, we have witnessed the undeniable presence of the Holy Spirit, strengthening and guiding our youth in their journey of faith. As we close this month, we are reminded of the promise of restoration and renewal found in God's presence, and we look forward to continuing to walk alongside our youth as they grow closer to Him and embrace His calling on their lives.

The Peace of the Lord!
